The opening $40,000 claimer (6.15) on the Belmont Park card provides a key question for punters. Do you want to side with the proven runners or opt for an unexposed conveyance who could prove to be a cut above this grade.
I would always favour the latter in a situation like this and therefore find it hard to look away from the Rudy Rodriguez-trained Star Of The West, who will make just his third career start in this six-and-a-half-furlong contest.
